Are you interested or considering integrating your QMS system with other systems (ERP, etc..)? We recently partnered with Intellect QMS , and had a fantastic conversation with Raquel Diaz Cloyed from Intellect around integrating Intellect QMS with other systems, most commonly, ERP systems. Integrating these 2 makes perfect sense, since your quality system can, in alot of cases, need data, whether that is inventory or materials, suppliers, or customers, this can add deep value to ensure data streams from your QMS system. Consider this, you have quality inspections as a component of your QMS software, and need inventory with current quantities. Allowing for these lookups so that your non-conformances can be tracked and managed in your QMS system, and potentially push data back to your erp (quantity on hold, scrap, pending, etc..). From there, we can generate our Corrective Actions with our inventory captured. All of this data is then tracked across the QMS system without having to retype data manually. This is just one scenario of the capabilities of an integrated QMS/ERP workstream.
